Motion in Bristol became our dank industrial pit for these incredible machines for a few days last week!
Wrapped last week on Neck Face, short film with the amazing Rustle Up productions and Rhod Gilbert.
The Dell film I styled as Art Director, now being edited for a US commercial.
The Townarium had another outing this weekend, gathering ideas and enthusiastic offerings from people exploring through the streets of Bath. Every Townarium experiment is different, and we are always ready to be surprised. Favourite contributions this time were the outdoor cinema showing 24hr cat videos, near the flip flop factory (staffed by swimming teachers) so they can have a good laugh on their breaks. The champagne hospital (for when 'more is more') had a hangover hospital wing with fry ups and bad telly on demand. Art schools, dance studios and cuddle stops made the centre of town, while on the outskirts was the Mum Retreat and on the far far side the Teen space (no neighbours).
I was part of the team in Bristol for the Gary Barlow surprise performance in Cabot Circus on Bank holiday Monday for BBC1. I love blowing the lid off people's everyday expectations so it was a great project to be part of, lots of happy squeals at the reveal!
Great to see photos of the water-life themed caravans I kitted out with Ali Brown and Megan Clarke Bagnall for the Wye River Festival.
Make a Wild Thing! George Ferguson accepted our creative challenge and joined the busy table of makers, agreeing that a dose of quiet creativity was the best antidote for campaigning.
Just checking out my old cartoons for the Lunar ladies, as I draw three more staff members for their growing team... http://www.lunaroptical.com/#!history/c10fk
'Robin Hood' themed Spring camp, the sun shone on us and most of us were in the river at some point, willingly! We made beaten copper medallions and had an Easter Bunny raft challenge, most made it but I think a few were sabotaged and became fish food. 60 happy kids and ten exhausted grown ups....
Back with Happy Hour and Terry and Steve creating a series of Idents for Soccer Am...
The installation with creative collaborator Ali Brown, and Megan Clarke-Bagnall. The pompoms were a community group initiative, and the space was used by story tellers and musicians.
